Cat In The Hat Visits!

I wouldn't have believed it

I would have thought it all lies.

But... I saw THE CAT

with my very own eyes!

It arched it's back

and wriggled it's nose.

And in between purrs,

stopped to strike up a pose!

Then THE CAT took it's spot

on the big comfy chair,

to read us a story

about how to be fair.

And when THE CAT was done

we all got "High Fours"

said our goodbyes

and scurried out the doors.

What a great day it was

meeting CAT IN THE HAT.
